Recently at our Kiwi Mums group in Oxford, we were set the challange, of paint, canvas, buttons galore and craft glue! they had some ideas printed out of trees with buttons on them etc. But I got a bit of a mind blank with the tree idea, so i went for ballons instead :) this is soo easy and fun you really must try, as the possibilities are endless!
This took me 2 sessions to do it in. The first one, I painted the base coat (background) and then lightly drawed the bird in pencil and painted that and postioned the balloons. Originally I had also penciled in the balloon strings but I found this was tricky when I went to use felts to colour them with as it was a little restricting. Next time I'd just do the strings first then glue down the buttons last at the ends...
